Reform on the River: 13 Minute Version

This film was produced in 1988 to highlight the Charter Committee of Cincinnati's historic reform effort in the 1920's. Cincinnati had been run by bosses the last 30 years and the corruption was rampant. Reformers like Murray Seasongood and a group of impassioned women who had just received the right to vote in 1920 took on the corruption and amended the city's charter to include a City Manager and a nine member council.
