This is just part of the problem, two weeks ago I fixed an outside tap which had been damaged during the bad weather, I set it up so it was the easiest thing in the world for the owner to fix it himself in the future ie two nuts to unscrew and rescrew, I even left him a pre cut length of pipe for him to replace the existing one. I voted reform last election and will do so again - principally to reduce immigration and perhaps restore the English constitution. My only worries are a) they will remain committed to a Thatcherite free market ideology (there is space for freeing things up but we also need state intervention in many areas). b) they won’t go far enough with regards to deporting people and remaining firmly within the liberal frame they will be unable to reverse the demographic oblivion of the English people
