Most beautiful place in Canada is hands down Lake Louise in Alberta with its azure blue waters and giant glaciers. I went for a 11 hours hike through rough terrain, snow, ice and steep climbs covering 17.3 kilometers. I was lucky not running into any flesh hungry bears during my solo hike on the way back down. It was a huge mistake not bringing bear spray.
You need a lot of stamina if you want to include the Abbot Pass Viewpoint, the Beehive and Lake Agnus in a one-day hike but trust me, it will be worth every drop of sweat!

Together with my friends from Holland we spent an entire day at this mesmerizing place, and fortunately it being one of the best days of the year. Early June is highly recommended!
To confess; there was a moment when I thought of quitting but luckily was rescued and motivated by an experienced group of hikers.
My advice; do not swim in Lake Louise, the water is 5 degrees Celsius which could cause hypothermia in minutes.
