Reformation of any sort is always a red flag. That’s how every works based program begins. The idea that we must do something in order to reform ourselves. We who belong to Christ are a new creation, who put no confidence in the flesh. The emphasis has always got to be Jesus Christ. Apart from Him we are dead. Only those who believe on Him have eternal life, for this IS eternal life: to know God & to know Jesus Christ. Does God need reformation? Does Jesus need to be reformed? But we ALL, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord. Not reformation, but transformation into the same image because we behold the glory of the Lord. The problem with the world is they seek reformation. They never walk by faith (Spirit, who the Word says we are) but they walk by sight (flesh, knowledge of good & evil). We will know we are in the faith when we STOP seeking reformation. When we SEE ourselves in the mirror as we truly are, as Christ is. Without Christ, there is NO transformation, NO eternal life, nothing is made new except through faith in Him. Believing IS becoming. We only preach Jesus Christ & Him crucified. Only in Christ is the veil removed. Therefore IF anyone be in CHRIST he IS a new creature. Old things ARE passed away, behold ALL things ARE become new.
