After receiving independence from Spain, the Mexican Empire was at its peak for years before going to war with the United States and losing a large chunk of land, which is the present-day Sun Belt (including California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas), in the United States. Play Countryball: Europe 1890 It’s a fun strategy game that I discovered like 2 years ago. You can play through multiple areas in time like ww1, the war between Prussia and Austria, and the period between ww1 and ww2. You can play as almost any country in Europe during those times, and you can play as almost any country in modern Europe and fight all the other countries to rule the world! (Or Europe.) The game also includes Northern Africa, and most of the Middle East.

In age of history ii, I increased my investments and science and got stronger and rich and made a big army and made smaller countries join me and made some south American countries to join me, then I attack the u.s and the u.s was distracted by Brazil and usa didn't recruited any troops and kept taking a lot of land, usa did sneak attack me in Texas and California but I destroyed them and made the USA collapse and liberated Cuba, Canada and other.

the actual reason for puppeting is for military purposes as once in my game i saw denmark 1v1 russia and then win but it wasnt too much surprising sincce the year was like 2040'ish and denmark was very peacefull until germany declared war on them and straight up destroyedd denmark until like 3 provinces and denmark made a comback and just annexed the north of germany and went on a killing spree on europe then declared war on russia and won.
