You sir have a gift, a gift of teaching and delivery of a complicated subject in a simplistic and understandable way that not only captivates and engages the layperson, but serves as a wonderful refresher for the science savvy individual. Kudos.

This Man is an absolute legend; I have my Physics GCSE exam tomorrow, and initially i was feeling very down since I had no clue about physics until i found him in a miracle and I seem to get everything in my specification, just in couple of hours, compared to a whole year in physics lessons! Amazing!

Thanks. I hope the exam goes really well.

at 19:15 , can i say that critical angle is when reflected ray is 90 degrees
@DrPhysicsA8 жыл бұрын
Well actually its the refracted ray which is at 90 degrees to the normal. The reflected ray will be at the critical angle on the other side of the normal.

THANK YOU!!! I CAN SEE EVERYTHING SO CLEARLY! I ACTUALLY UNDERSTAND REFRACTION AND TIR :DD

so are you saying at 17:24 if you were to change your position you could see the fish under water? Or if the fish changed their position they would be visible to the person on the surface?

What about Snell's rule: n¹ sin i = n² sin r ? How come you didn't use it here?

Excellent, but I think this includes details not currently required for GCSE Physics.

i have a doubt on 27:45 u drew a normal but.... y didnt u draw it the opposite way like u drew it like this "/" (or something like this) y not like this "\" (a bit more slanting)?
@DrPhysicsA8 жыл бұрын
+Gaming DUsT3R The normal to a surface is perpendicular to the surface. So since the surface is itself slanting the normal will be 90 degrees to it.

Is this course for the exam board aqa?
@DrPhysicsA9 жыл бұрын
Josephine Letchumanan All my vids for GSCE and A level contain material suitable for all the main courses (AQA, OCR, Edexcel, CIE) but not all courses need all the material in the vids.

When u dont know wheather it is suppse to be sin i/sin r or sin r/sin i. Just calculate both ways and the correct answer would be the answer >0.9.this way was correct in each question i did so far
