I think that its important to say that Na+ channels go back to closed state when polarization of membrane is back to -80mV,so because of Plato faze when Ca2+ is coming in ,the polarization is still positive and that’s why Na channels can’t go back to closed state for longer time (if we compare to skeletal muscle)
