New isn't always better. I wouldn't trade my completely rebuildable Appoin Recovery Machine for anything. I would l Ike to have the completely rebuildable JB battery powered vacuum pump. It will run on Milwaukee or Dewalt battery's when you removethe restrictor plate. Still stand by my Appion core tools, rebuildable compact, just need to swap the factory O-ring to a HNBR or HSN 'AS568 Standard O-ring size -108' to make them perfect. Doesn't get in the way of the core and last a long time. I haven't worn them out yet.

@@Wass898 ? Chemically the type of carbon you’re referring to is very very different. Carbon dioxide is an inert gas.

what was the purpose of removing the oil fill cap at 19:24? does that take the place of using a ballast?

That is the ballast. The huge cap ahead of it is the oil fill cap/exhaust.

Few things. So you top up a r410a system that had a leak? Which is a no no due to been a blend refrigerant and took core removal tool off just to put your gauge line on when you could've just put it straight on the tool? Please explain

You can charge 410A as a liquid no problem

R410a only has less 0.5F of temperature glide, if that. Why it's a near-azeotropic refrigerant. It's OK to top off a r410a system. Read the mainstream engineering training packet on their website, free download.
