I strangely misheard "The Ringed F" as "The Ring Death". O.O

Finnish person here, with more history of Finnkino in case anyone cares. Finnkino was formed from OVER THIRTY film production companies, including one Kinosto, from which they got their Kino Globe logo. Finnkino was then sold to a Swedish investment company Ratos in 2011 after Rautakirja went bankrupt or was merged or... honestly, nobody still can make of what happened to Rautakirja. And in 2015, they were sold to Bridgepoint, who THEN merged Finnkino and SF Bio's (now Filmstaden) operations into Nordic Cinema Group, before selling that to AMC. One controversial move they made was around 2017 or 2018, when they closed Nuijamies, a formerly-family-owned movie theater in my city. After much protest, the space was sold to the Finnish bank group OP Group, who then leased it to an independent organization who converted it into a culture space. Funnily enough, the Kino Globe is used to this day by another production company in Finland, called Kinosto, which was a revival of one of over 30 companies that merged to form the original Finnkino. The first logo, which was made in a Scanimation like process, was seen on all prints of films shown within their cinemas and films they distributed, such as Cinema Paradiso. So, assuming you could find a Finnish print reel of such film, or other films that premiered at the time, it's very common. The second logo was shown in front of VHS tapes of... children's programs, like Moomin. The third logo, NOT the fourth logo, is actually still used to this day, though much less frequently, within cinemas like Maxim and Fantasia. The fifth logo is actually still in use as well, though now more rarely as Finnkino really doesn't show their logo in cinemas much anymore. The "final" logo was so critically panned, that they stopped using it around last year. So basically, we're much better than what you know.

I don't remember the second logo being featured in Moomin VHSs. Maybe it wasn't in ones my family had. But I do remember the logo from some VHSs my family used own, for example Babe, and I was so scared of it and I even had nightmares about it.

@@madsceptictrooper6803 Early Moomin VHS releases in Finland were released by Showtime and Yleisradio. Starting in 1994, later VHS releases through the 1990s were then distributed by Finnkino, hence why Showtime and YLE Kasettikanava logos were featured regularly in early releases.

Opinions: Kino Globe - Oh my god, the music. The best music piece I've ever heard on a logo. The animation is beautiful with it's CGi effect. The Ringed F - I like it, but not as much as the previous logo. Also, why is 'Finn' and 'Kino' separate from each other? The Ringed F 2 - An improvement from the previous logo. This is a good logo with the animation and fanfare. The Ringed F 3 - Even better. The camera effect is beautiful and the music fits in very well. The Ringed F 4 - Bit boring due to the lack of actual music, but the animation and creativity is on the spot. The Ringed F 5 - It's the biggest piece of dog s**t - Dwyane Johnson (The Rock) Overall, my favourite is the Kino Globe.

Wonderful Presentation CCG88!, I really like Finnkino, although i haven't grewn up with Finnkino, they do really have great logos, unlike the Ringed F V, I will look forward for Episode 63 and Betamax. But for now, i'll be looking Eyemagon's next logo history on New World Pictures.

I'm sure The Red Ringed F isn't really hated but feared due to it being nightmarish. I was some of the early Gen Z kids that witnessed it from VHSs that my family owned. Even though it scared me, I don't hate it.
