What year is this lantern, Robert? Off to lesson #3! Thank you. Stay safe and stay warm

I think it was a April of 1952 if I'm not mistaken. I put it in the end of part three.

Can you tell me how to make that wooden clamp base to hold the lantern please?
@BluegrassBushcraft11 күн бұрын
@sidneywhite749 I have changed the design and upgraded it a few times over the years but here is a video of the basics. God bless. kzbin.info/www/bejne/b6CrmmN9i6aCg68si=ZI2F56kxQaaQeNCo

Hey I’m repainting a 200a black and what paint did you use
@BluegrassBushcraft24 күн бұрын
@Clinton-i4i Not sure what is going on with the youtube comments? Some are not showing up in my comments and I'm finding them late in the youtube studio. I replied on the studio but it disappeared. Now I'm getting it in the comments. I generally take the ventilator with me to the hardware and match the paint. The colors vary with each production. I found a really close match with the Ace hardware brand. Thanks for watching and God bless.

Incredible Robert 👍🏻 I learned a lot but the flash rust info was top for me
@BluegrassBushcraft4 жыл бұрын
That flash rust will get you in the blink of an eye. God bless
@daleedwards91022 жыл бұрын
That "flash rust can be easily stopped by having a baking soda and water bath right next to your vinegar bath. The baking soda bath will instantly neutralize your acidic vinegar. Then dry and oil if you wish

Yeah I have been told this before but I guess I have just been set in my ways. I guess I really need to give this a try. Thanks and God bless.
