❤❤❤yes sir!!! My Daddy was raised in Abbeville, Louisiana and moved to SouthEast Texas at 20 to qork in an oil refinery. He worked hard all day and went straight to the work in the garden. We ate off of the garden, fruit trees, chickens, turkeys. We ate good! One thing my Dad taught us was and he would say "look at me and listen! You ain't better than nobody and ain't nobody better than you!" It has has helped me to treat people like my Momma always said "treat people the way you want them to treat you."

We all need to stand and fight for those who cannot. I as a veteran took an oath to defend against enemies foreign and domestic. That oath was not only for my time in the military, but for Life. Fighting may mean being called foul names, or even spit upon or bodily threatened. Fighting IS hard, Slavery is harder. We are all responsible to fight for Freedom and pass it alone as it was fought for and passed onto us. I ask ALL of you, Do Not forsake your responsibility, VOTE on November 5, 2024. In Ronald Reagan's 1967 Inaugural Address, a portion of his speech read, "Those in world history who have known freedom and then lost it, have never known it again." WHAT SAY YOU?

Billy, is there a way you can try to stop by and see Ben and Denise tomorrow when you go to Bakersville? I know you tried to get there in the past but could not find an open route. I received one of the nicest letters today from them. Absolutely no whining, but they let it slip that there are fences down, the driveway looks like a riverbed, damage to that new barn, lost a rabbit in its hutch and have no internet. I imagine that a short visit from you would mean the world to them.

I think the cross mix for 200 years of Cherokee people, Scottish people and Mountain people (a breed all their own) has made the people dwelling in the WNC mountains a different sort who respect your abilities more than worrying about what someone looks like. That’s been the conclusion we arrived at having visited the area for 30 years. Just some all around neat people. Live in GA, but husband is from WV and my ancestors are from the Pyrenees so we love the area and are heartbroken by the devastation, but know the kind of people dwelling in those mountains will rise above it all. But, they need a little help and so glad for people like you doing your part. 🙏🙏🙏

Division is a strategy. Keep the people divided and they don’t pay attention to what going on with government and the powers that should not be. Divide, distract, discredit, deflect, defame, deny, deter, diminish….. all the tools used by those who seek to keep power at the expense of ordinary people. Stay strong.
