Christian here, and I watch David Wood and Apostate Prophet videos. Whenever I watch a claim that seems so evil in my eyes I go check with Muslim sources. For example. Mohammed marrying a 6 year old girl and having sexual intercourse (sexual abuse) with her at 9 years. To me that's really evil. So I found out various Muslims say. 1. It was a different time ( then I wonder, isn't Mohammed supposed to be a good example even to modern Muslims, there are Islamic countries in 2022 that don't have an age limit for child brides) 2. This is a popular one - he didn't really have sex with her at that age based on some historical context. 3. The scary one. Once puberty is reached they can consummate. May Jesus Christ protect the children born in Islamic countries that have no problem with this. And that's why I am listening to Farid as well, learn from all sides.

I actually have several points which are useful in debates of fiqh issues particularly: (1) HOW HAVE RULINGS BEEN APPLIED? This I think is often undersold: Not only know the principles of fiqh, but also know the history in terms of how a particular ruling/principle was implemented by the the prophet, the tabi’een, etc. Eg. the first 4 rightly guided caliphs. (For eg. it may be significant that Umar (ra) stopped the taking of concubines as war captives since he did not want it to become a regular practice.) (Eg 2. We know that 3/4 schools agree that male prisoners of war may be executed. But how often was this actually implemented and why? (Note that if it was always implemented it would contradict verse 9:29 itself since there would be no working male to pay jizya since working males generically populated armies.) (2) WHAT DID THE CLASSICAL SCHOLARS SAY? Know the opinions and arguments from the sources of those opinions of the madhaahib and of the great classical Ulama (eg. Al Dhahabi, Nawawi, Ibn Qudamah, Ibnul Qayyim) (For eg. That Imam Ahmad and Imam Shafi’i both held that a servant woman may be had intercourse with only if she is a people of the book.) Always have multiple Tafsir references. Note that another simple reason is obviously that contradicting the classical ulama is very dangerous. (3) CROSS REFERENCE YOUR MATERIAL. Do not merely take the opinion of singular scholars even if they were great ulama. Imam Malik used to hold that women and children could not be killed in battle even if they were combatents. This opinion was widely rejected later on. The following is the most important to not wasting your time: (4) HOW HAVE PEOPLE IN THE PAST DEAL WITH ARGUMENTS? Almost certainly someone has dealt with the argument you are dealing with before. Know the arguments of those who have opposed this before; perhaps look through many of them and synthesize them and adapt them as necessary for a situation. (Eg. Allegation Hunters has a highly comprehensive article on Ai’sha and the prophets marriage. Ibn Hajar (erroneously) states seemingly something to the effect that Aisha was prepubescent when she was 14. Do you know how to respond to this? Note that I know this even despite no objector ever bringing it up to me.) (5) RESPONDING TO INSULTS. Emotional reaction to an insult is doom; it is a sign of insecurity and you are validating the possibility of considering the insult by either reacting emotionally or trying to refute them. Remember never shift the burden of proof to yourself if you’re not the one making the claim. By defending yourself against an insult that is exactly what you are doing. And an emotional reaction or you defending yourself is also what it seems the clowns are looking for. Keep them on the defensive. Keep it absolutely chill and ask for evidence or simply dismiss their claim as baseless. Eg. If someone makes a baseless insult of saying “pedophilia” about the prophet (saw), do not get triggered. Just say “Proof or Dismissed by Hitchen’s Razor”. They will never be able to provide a single piece of evidence for this “pedophilia” claim that has thoroughly been refuted. A weak form of Hitchen’s Razor sufficient in almost all cases: What is empirically knowable if true, if asserted without evidence can be dismissed without counterevidence.

More proof: Dan 10:15: "And when he had spoken such words unto me, I set my face toward the ground, and I became dumb." Dan 8:18: "Now as he (Gabriel) was speaking with me, I was in a deep sleep on my face toward the ground: but he touched me, and set me upright." There's more, but here is what happened to Jesus when he an angel approached him, which, of course, means that he was receiving a revelation: Luke 22: 43-44: 43: "And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him. 44 And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground." So, Daniel experienced unconsciousness and fear, whose symptoms include "sweating and trembling" according to the Mayo Clinic, when he was receiving his visions and revelations. Jesus experienced hematohidrosis (sweating blood) because of the fear he experienced when approached by an angel. So, is your position that Daniel and Jesus had epilepsy or are you now convinced that these symptoms are signs of a prophet receiving a revelation?

I talked about the notorious 1John 5:7 which is, by consensus, a later addition to serve the false doctrine of trinity. He mentioned a study made by one of the famous Egyptian Christian researchers that, allegedly, proves the authenticity of the segment. I searched the study and it was really too long that I needed two full days to review every single detail in it, and astonishingly, every single detail was a lie ! (1) Ask for a Primary Source. Primary sources generally have a chain back to the prophet. Secondary sources do not have this. Secondary sources can generally be quoting the same unoriginal origin. Eg. Gundil quotes material from 3 different texts which all come from the same source.

@@makannasi8317 I actually study I don’t have time for these things. Also the answer to your other question is that I can use then to refer to writing order of sentences and not that the sentences content occur in the world in that order. I wrote I ate Chicken, then I ate beef, then I ate chicken. Here I only refer to the order in which I wrote them. So I really should have written. I wrote I ate chicken, then I wrote I ate beef, then I wrote I ate chicken, etc.
@makannasi83173 жыл бұрын
@@John-lf3xf According to Oxford and Cambridge dictionaries, the word "then" implies time or when an action took place. So if you say "I ate chicken, then I wrote I ate beef, then I wrote I ate chicken," it would mean I wrote I ate chicken AFTER I wrote I ate beef, implying chronological order. "I wrote I ate beef" came before "I wrote I ate chicken" since you used then. Therefore, the Quran verse does mean chronological order
@John-lf3xf3 жыл бұрын
@@makannasi8317 Also not necessarily there is another way it could be used as simply additional. Read the whole Cambridge dictionary entry. You’re wrong. The writing above that I did if I were to describe it would be in writing order. It is written x, then it is written y, then it is written z. Doesn’t imply that x y and z happened in order.
@John-lf3xf3 жыл бұрын
@@makannasi8317 thumma obviously translates as moroever there. If you read the verses closely it’s pretty obvious that it’s just saying that he heavens and earth were created. Very well put together video. In general, there appears to be three main deficiencies amongst Murtads: Epistemology and in particular Testimonial chains (and how to evaluate them) is a "lost art" these days; and is the first. Then of course you have just plain ignorance of the Arabic language (the second), in tandem with zero training in Hermeneutics (the third). These three together (in combination or standalone) cover the bulk of the "debunking Islam" crowd.

But rather To utterly destroy it.

Brother Farid: According to the biblical book of Daniel, trembling, falling in a faint or experiencing unconsciousness as well as exhibiting signs of fear are signs of revelation. According to Luke, Jesus sweated blood during a revelatory process in the Garden of Gesthemane. So, the Jewish and Christian tribes in Arabia were very aware of these signs meaning that a prophet was receiving a revelation. BTW, I rarely argue biblical interpretations as the Hebrew bible (Masoretic texts or MT) was not available at the time of the Prophet. The official scripture was the many Septuagint versions which were very fluid. Since, the Prophet did not speak Koine Greek, one must conclude that the Quran is addressing the oral traditions, some of which had their origins in Gnostic, Coptic and Aramaic scriptures as well as the Septuagint. Non scriptural texts as the Talmud, the Mishnah and the Gemara also contain episodes which are also addressed in the Quran.
