Rege' did an awesome job as Chicken George. The cockiness and self-confidence he bought to the character matched the iconic performance of the great Ben Vereen, but he did it his own way with a little more swagger. He was refreshing. And he has the look you would expect to see in a biracial child. I loved the southern accent too, I didn't realize he was British until I saw one of the interviews he did. I'm sure it took training and hard work for him to mask his natural accent. I watched the movie three times just to hear him talk. He's extremely handsome with a great looking profile. He kind of reminds me of Maxwell, as if they could be long distant relatives. I hope he gets more quality roles, I'm looking forward to seeing him again. The BET Awards is coming up, and I hope they mention the remake and the affect it has on the new generation of young people, like the original had on my generation.

This man has been beautifully and wonderfully made. Hopefully, in the real world, he is just as pleasant, kind and refreshing. I just watched Bridgerton for the umpteenth time. He is a pleasure to behold from every angle!

No problem and yes I was a background actress, thanks for the well wishes! On the set we were on, it was breakfast time backstage and as I was sneaking around tryna grab extra food. Thinking I was alone, I turn around and to my surprise he just politely standing behind me..I freaked n apologized to him, he laughed about it n clearly showed an interest to make conversation w/ me after (in his American accent tho lol) .. it was friendly.. It was just us two alone.. but as background actors your advised to keep it professional at all times with the talent plus it was my first time ever on a set.. I got nervous n cut him off short *SIGH * I still kick myself up thinking about that 😑
