Rega Planar 1 Turntable

In this video we are going over Rega's Planar 1, which is easily their most user friendly turntable to date.
Unlike most turntables that deliver such quality sound, the P1 comes out of the box almost ready to go. With the RB110 tonearm and Carbon MM cartridge already installed at the factory, all you need to do is remove a piece of cardboard and install the balance wait and your ready to spins some vinyl.

Can strongly recommend Rega Planar Plus 1. I have the same Monitor Audio Silver 500 (gen6) as on the background (with W12, C350 and satalite speakers) great combi!

Hi, this might be not a proper question to ask but i will ask anyway. I was looking at the Rega planar3 vs audio technica ltlp1240. Can you honestly tell me if there is huge difference base on sound quality and durability? Thanks

You could at least turn off the audio track in this video when turning on the turntable. I heard the motor is loud, I can't really tell that now can I when you have the music playing in the background.

I'm not sure where you heard that the motor is loud. I have two planar 1 turntables and a planar 6 in my main system and all three of them are dead quiet, Way quieter than a certain Austrian brand I could name.

What about anti skate? 45 rpm? What kind of review doesn't even address these common features on a turntable?

The antiskate "fixed" to be compatible with the carbon cart. So it has antiskate but it's not adjustable. To change speeds you have to remove the platter and move the position of the belt.

@@nateh.7510 Yes I do. I love it. I own one, along with an RT83 as well as my RT85. If you're looking for a solid, great looking table with terrific sound reproduction at a price that won't break the bank, look no further than the RT81. You won't be disappointed.
