Rega RB250/300 Internal Rewire and Proprietary Tutorial (Part 3)

Great info for people who haven't done this before 👌. I haven't seen the shifting spanner technique before. I may use it ,if I get around to rewiring my RB303 that is on my modified RP6 turntable, as these have allegedly had their end stubs applied with a thread lock substance from the factory. I've had a half-hearted try at removing it's stub and it is definitely on very tight. My reason for removing it is to fit a Michell Technoweight. I've rewired a few Rega arms myself, and have a: RB251 and R200 sitting awaiting me getting in the mood. I have already replaced the bias belt on the R200, so sorta half done. Hi Jim, the shifting spanner technique works extremely well, just be very careful of the finger lift on the headshell end of the tonearm (very easy to break.)
