True. Most people didn’t ask for a homeless update, some useless stands update, and a 90s furniture update but we got it. I’ve literally been asking for a hollow gable roof but it’s still not here even though we already have a hollow roof but it’s not a gable roof. Roleplaying is so freaking boring due to the lack of things that we can do. Something that annoys me is that there’s a camera in build mode that is 1000+ money and you can’t even take actual pictures with it. You just get to hold it.

Like, if they wanted equal pay, then they should’ve made all the jobs give you the same amount of money as the pizza job did. Like, I do not like the pizza job, it’s hella boring but I’m only doing it because it gives me the most money. When I first started Bloxburg, the first job I did was the fishing job. I liked that job and I even raised it to level 15. However, when I figured out that the pizza job gives you the most amount of money, I went and stuck to that job. I tried other jobs, too. For example, I tried the lumber job, the pizza making job, the job at the grocery store, the styling job, etc. All those jobs were more fun than the pizza job but I didn’t do it because they didn’t give me that much money. The mining job is the job I’ve been wanting to do but it won’t give me that much money so I don’t bother. If they wanted people to try all the other jobs, not just the pizza job, then they should’ve all the other jobs give you as much money as the pizza job did.

Place by place if you want it done in all one update how long it’s going to take without an update. Hmm prob 3-5 months. I think what they are doing is there working beside the scenes to make it.

I started playing Bloxburg in 2021, and I was HOOKED on the game played every day after school. I decided to quit for two reasons. Number 1: Money update it used to be easy to make money. I used to be able to make a million in around a week! Now it takes me much longer, and since it takes longer, I can't manage school and make money! Number 2: The game is becoming free now. That wasn't really the problem it's what the paid access players got when it became free. I don't think many people wanted a drivable couch? We wanted Bloxbucks and money, not a trophy and a couch!

Nametags are useless as well and it just shows us how much they “care” about our support and devotion to the game. It’s a kick in the face. The Bills as well. It’s probably 2 things 1: the April update. The update that brought new bills and affected the job system. And coffee stain did nothing about it. Causing a lot of players to leave 2: lack of major updates. We barely had any major update in the past few months (besides the campsite update) the lack of new features has kinda made players not interested in the game and have decided to take a break from it If there was a way to save the game, we could use a map expansion and town revamp. Since that’s what players want the most

I completely agree, I feel like even though players wanted a somewhat "realistic" bloxburg, this probably isn't what they meant... There's so many things that the community wants and I feel like the devs aren't listening anymore, and yeah the camping update is cool, but there's so many things I miss from the old bloxburg (like not having towing and medical bills). I feel like if thay really had to implement the bills, there should be a hospital, or finally putting the parking garage to use, rather than having bills out of nowhere. The aspect of getting to go to the clinic/ hospital would bring an interactive part to the town, rather than people dreading having to pay $1000+ for their bills

this decline has been very sad to watch. sadly i think it has to do with the atrocious april update. the reduced pay drove so many people away from the game, and made others like me less motivated to keep playing, as it would take a significantly longer amount of time to make money to build projects. as someone who builds large multi-million dollar projects, i think that this update negatively impacted the whole community. since this update, i have been playing less and had several hiatuses from a lack of motivation to keep working when money is low. i will still keep playing as i love building and designing things, but i do play less now, as it just takes more time out of my day to work. it's very disappointing to see this happening to the game, but unless coffee stain makes major adjustments (which they haven't so far), i think the game is doomed and will keep declining. we have had many great updates since coffee stain and it helped lots, but as soon as they released the april update, it was already toast. i hope they can fix their mistakes and make the game amazing again, but at this rate, i sadly don't see it happening. yes i ramble lots

As I said in Ashleys video, If Bloxburg wanted to keep the good player count AND keep the equal pay, they should've subtracted 50% off all costs of all build mode items. This would make it easier to make money, and if you were building something that costed 100k it would take you a while to make that money. But if all build mode items were 50% off, You'd only need 50k to make something that costed 100k

I think you're spot on! I think what's most important is keeping the game as fun as possible and as you said, not adding unnecessary changes like the fees and reduced pay. Especially nowadays where not only does keeping the game fun mean people will want to play, but Bloxburg has to compete against other games. People are going to play Roblox and since Bloxburg made the game harder and therefore not as fun, people are going to turn to the thousands of other popular games that are. And I just don't see why the fees and change of pay was in any way a good idea. I've heard from so many developers and have seen time and time again instances where focusing solely on making the game more fun and listening to the community has almost always been the best way to go. More people loving the game = more time spent = more players = success and everyone is happy lol. Even if the reason for the decrease in pay was money, I believe they would've made much more and would've been better off if they never reduced the pay. Like I just don't get it. It's so evident if you just look at every other game on Roblox, the ones that have been maintaining players and the ones that have been steadily decreasing and the difference is almost always whether or not the focus of those behind the game is to make it more fun with every update and listen to the community's feedback or not. Afterall the absolute BEST way to grow your game is to create it with the mindset that you are making this game for your players. And I believe if Coffee Stain would truly create with this mindset, a satisfied and loyal community, players, success, and profits would all come. I want to trust Coffee Stain but it sure has gotten more difficult. I think more transparency would definitely help build back some of that trust that many of us have lost. Like I could list games right now that have not been doing well like Bloxburg because they don't listen and add updates that aren't fun and no-one wanted. As a seasoned Bloxburger (been on since 2016), I think the lack of interest in the game is due to a "bloxburg culture" that was created by those who gained paid access over the years. Bloxburg orginally was very inclusive where servers were balanced and there was "ABC for kid/mom/dad/dog " everywhere. It was fun and satisfactory as the game was fresh and updating regularly with necessities. However, as time went on, there became an understanding among us "Early Bloxburgers" that bloxburg was either for building awesome builds in public servers (the Building Hub) or for roleplaying (either organized or random) at large Neighbourhoods with 50+ people. Its alot more fun playing with 75 players than with 12 and since the game has gone free, not many new players know about the "secret roleplay life" of 50+ Neighbourhoods so they resort to solo gameplay which gets boring quickly as all you do is explore the small map, work, build, get your moods up and watch others build. So what you may find are: -Public servers where 9/12 players are building, 2 are grinding for money and the other is begging to roleplay. -Majority of players are actually in someone's private Neighbourhood where if a person is building, they are asked to leave due to plot space and the roleplay potential of that used space. -Everything else mentioned above. -Also the Money system has detered me from building alot. Disclaimer: This is all just from my 8 years experience. (I've always been a builder and roleplayer)

I think the pay update is terrible because many OG players with million-dollar houses now have super high bills. Even with the premium game pass and maxed solar panels (70%), I still have to pay 8k just for my 3 million Catopia prison. Without premium AND solar, my bills would be around 17k/18k. Before, I could make 2k per pizza at level 30 and pay it off easily, with plenty of money left over for building. Now, with this new system, I usually only make 400-1k, which is way worse. I can barely pay bills and have anything left to build. Old earnings: 2k per pizza New earnings: 400 to 1k Worst case: 400 2000 = 20 % 2000 400 ​ =20% I'm making 80% less now. Best case: 1000 2000 = 50 % 2000 1000 ​ =50% I'm making 50% less. Plus, the mood system is super frustrating, and the fainting mechanic adds another 400 bill to worry about!

Brookhaven is popular because - It updates with new features every weekend - It's easier for players to roleplay - Cars are Free - They have prebuilt houses that are free - And there are a lot of roleplay choices within the town (e.g Police Officer.) Tldr: Brookhaven is generally just more vibrant with RP since nobody has to build / make money. Unlike in Bloxburg where most of the player base is either in a neighborhood, or a public server grinding. Makes it almost impossible for new players to roleplay.

@RegainRiOT the ‘equal pay’ update technically did not lower pay it just completely depends on the job HOWEVER the devs could have improved it by adding work experience but equalising the pay by rising it to the pizza delivery job which was the most well paid job at the time. The idea had sooooo much potential but the execution was simply not it, THEY NEED TO LISTEN TO THE COMMUNITY ITS SUPPOSED TO BE ENJOYABLE FOR US AND NOT THEM!!

I’ve been playing since 2015, bloxburg will never reach its peak if it continues running onto this path. Bloxburg was so good back then because it was so new, it was something that wasn’t seen before on Roblox. The map needs a revamp asap, it needs to be more interesting more interactive. Jobs “roleplaying” and building houses is so repetitive and it’s why people are quitting bloxburg needs to think of something new and innovative something that can bring interest in new and old players.

I think with the Halloween update coming in a few weeks, it might include a bigger engagement as it'll be the first Halloween update for free to play users. I also do think that the Job Pay decrease is the reason for the game to spike down with popularity, There could be other reasons but I think that is the main one. Look out guys for the 26 September to the 3rd of October, because those are the two likely dates for the update to drop, leaning towards the 3rd 🎃

I like it's weird how the devs made it free to play so that it reaches a bigger audience and higher engagement for both content creators and the game itself, but the player count is still going down... If it's happened recently, it might be due to school hitting again and the targeted audience (kids, teens, and young adults) might not have the time to spend as much time on bloxburg than they initially did back in the summer. Especially the time it takes to build a decent house with the jobs giving less money, people can't spend an hour or so just working.

The developers said the update that added equal pay, hospital bills, and towing was needed to maintain the game's economy (which may be true), but in the long run I would say bloxburg will lose a lot more money from that update (because of the lack of players), versus if they never released those features which would mean more money from all of the players. In real businesses, it's usually more profitable to have lower prices and more customers, instead of less customers but high prices. The reason I just haven't felt like playing bloxburg lately is because it takes so long to earn money. The only way to restore the player count is to make money much easier to earn and adding a massive update. Edit: Just noticing all the comments talking about how bad it was they made the game free, but I think that's not true. It's just that the game becoming free came at the worst timing possible right after things starting to decline. They need to have a good first impression on bloxburg or else all those new players will never come back. I don't think making the game paid access again will do anything positive.

I think cuz how boring it is without money, but earning money is hard as well. And the game seems to be designed for you to pay robux. There's this game called Roville, and you can easily get rich there if you're a builder cuz you CAN sell your build to other players! And earnign money is easy as well. Just work for a couple of days and put some of those earnings in the bank because those will increase when you deposit it. Now you can buy the business items to have you own store there with npcs buying. And once you got enough you can start building your house and sell it.
