Hi Jamie! My boyfriend and I are going to be traveling on regal princess for an eight day Caribbean cruise, starting this coming Monday. I am totally blind, and have never been on a cruise before. Having said that, I want to thank you personally for describing with great detail the fun that you had on your trip. Hopefully the ship offers some accessible features, such as braille. We were on Regal princess Tuesday-Saturday. 1st cruise and really enjoyed it. Had problems with the bathrooms and they moved us to new cabins. Only slight niggle was the wait for drinks at all the bars

I can't wait to get back to cruising. I get on Sky Princess in February for my third Princess cruise; First Royal in April 2016, then Regal in October 2019. My last cruise was on Carnival Panorama just before the shutdown, literally like a week or two before.

If you order an alcoholic drink with the package to be delivered to your room do you have to pay for it? In the old days room service wasn't covered by the package.

Hi Philip! With the medallion tech I think you can order a drink anywhere on the ship and it gets delivered to wherever you are!

Do you always have to drop off your luggage for Princess or can you bring it with you on board?

You can but it needs to fit through the security machines and you’d have to obviously carry it until your cabin is ready

Ours was the first cruise since the pandemic so all cabins were ready for boarding. You’d have to check with the cruise line now that capacity has risen and cruises are back to back.

Hello! I have a question that I hope you can help with. We've never cruised before. First one on the 14th August on the Regal. We have done the pre check-in on the app and got an arrival time of 11.45am - 12.15pm. Is this the time you can physically check-in and board the ship or is this the time to start the whole process. I.E we're arriving by car and it says we do the testing and pre checks in the car.. Just wondering how flexible the time is?

That’s the start of the process although there’s a 30 minute window (so you could arrive a bit earlier if you wanted)

@@Brucey79 I’m sorry but o didn’t drive so we went straight into the terminal and straight in for our test. I do know there’s a 30 min window (ie guests can arrive up to 30 mins in advance of their time) so it may be sensible to get there when you suggest.

Princess dropped the bomb within 30 days of my sailing that masks are now required. They will not allow me to cancel with a full refund or move my funds towards a cruise next year without a 75% penalty. Do not cruise Princess.
