This is a fantastic figure!! I have always loved the Gamorreans. Hulking pig men bodyguards is an awesome concept. Can I just take a moment to tell you Mighty Jabba Collection that I find your videos the ones that I get most excited about when it drops. You sound such a task guy and I appreciate the parameters of your collection. If I could get myself a new job then I would definitely be part of your patreon group to show my support. All the best my friend.

These naked Gamorreans did eventually appear in Book of Boba, so all is not lost. I enjoy these walkthroughs into your higher end collection, they help me appreciate the one part of the OT (Jabba’s Palace) that I always felt distracted from the overall galactic conflict.

I do think the original maquette is painted a little nicer particularly around the eyes which gives him a more menacing expression but still nice all the same

that looks very cool! pretty strange to see a gamorrean without all the armour.

Cool fighter guard. I hope the Obi Wan series has Jabba the Hutt as a regular character. And the guards too.

Would you consider doing painting tutorials? I really like how you paint stuff in your 3d printing videos and I have a few of star wars related dioramas. The closest things to tutorials I can find (aside from star wars dioramas that use pre-painted figures) are military dioramas and miniature painting (Warhammer 40K kind of stuff). The former Isn't always applicable, especially if I'm not doing a vehicle, and the latter is a little too small, and once again, not always applicable.

I might consider that. I do think watching miniature painting videos can be very helpful though

That looks really neat! I wonder if there is an Ackbar Maquette...

The maquette concept is much better than what was in the show. It really bothered me both fighters were identical to each other, that made no sense when people are betting on them.

It’s a very neat collectible but for 500$ I don’t think it’s worth it. I would’ve ordered it myself as I too am a Jabba collecting fanatic, but it replicates a quickly and easily made maquette all too well. If it had a better paint job I might’ve bit the bullet for it.

I never liked that fight scene in "Mandan". To me, the Gamorrean fighters just looked like big humans, poorly painted with green watercolor. They lacked that rubbery-like skin and flesh feeling that the original characters had. Now they just connoted green-painted human skin.
