Hi Matt! Would you recommend using the LW i4 Infinity microscope for water samples? Or is this microscope specific/best used for soil samples?

LW is mainly focused on medical - they are FDA certified. Their quality is superb. I definitely would recommend it for water. It's so powerful - the clarity is unmatched for the price point. You can always pay 15-20k for a DIC camera but that is overkill for soil and water work (I'd get an XRF analyzer before a DIC).

Amazing. I have some salt water tanks to grow out coral/fish and a tiny garden and am looking to investigate these worlds on another level at some point. Thanks! Highly considering getting your book 🤌

Do I need a microscope for the course?
@ThePermacultureStudent5 ай бұрын
No, not for the main soil course, and the bonus introduction to microscopy is included in some sign up options. It is self-paced, so you can check it out and see if that is something you want to pursue. That way you can make an informed decision knowing the options and power of the microscope.

Perhaps organic farming. Did microorganisms get here on the arc?
