The gap was sealed by relatives, but I think you're missing the point. Mary-Ann had lived in a 15-year-old bungalow that was suited to her needs and she had spent a lot of her own money improving it. She was told that she had to move because her home was being knocked and was moved into 60-year-old two-storey house that is also earmarked for demolition, and which she had to decorate herself. The door was like that when the council relocated her and they want 900 euro to replace it. Is that fair?

@RegenerationWatch oh right. Any new videos? What's happening with that shell on Crecora Ave? It's there a while now, nice view as you head out Childers Rd.

The houses are privately owned and are red-lined for demolition in the "new" plan. Unfortunately, like a lot of occupied homes that are also targeted for demolition, the Council's "Office of Regeneration" hasn't bothered to contact the owners to negotiate. In June 2011 the Council was warned via email about the threat posed to these houses by a vacant mid-terrace house that had been looted for copper. The Council and the former Regeneration Agency was asked to secure, refurbish and re-let the house. They did nothing and on 19 December 2011 the house was burnt-out, damaging the adjoining homes and forcing the residents out.

Working an a feature-length documentary with a focus on Human Rights featuring all four areas using old (previously unseen) footage and new interviews. Nowhere near finished.

That door frame and gap could easily be fixed for a couple of hundred. WHy can't some local handyman or builder fix it?

@mmcloughlin2001 Why should she? What would she watch? she has a disability and loves her soaps. The door should be repaired by her landlord - Limerick City Council. She should have been compensated for the improvements she carried out on her previous home and moved into house more suited to her needs, but you seem to think that things should be worse for her.
