It's weird how they do it. They give you 2 choices: Room style or roommate. If you find a roommate you wanna room with and let's say you applied for housing in January for a quad and they did in April for a quad, then you have a lesser chance of getting a quad and more of a chance getting the roommate requested. They will end up matching your application date to the later date (April in this instance) with your requested roommate. If you pick dorm preference over roommate then you will pretty much get what you want. No guarantee of getting the roommate you want though. It's rough. I had applied in September for a quad and my roommate applied in November for a quad. I took the risk and picked roommate over room preference and I still was able to get it. Find a roommate that has the same month application date as you and you will be pretty much guaranteed to get your room preference and roommate.

HIII, I am transferring to Regent in the fall! This is my first choice in dorm style but I was wanting to ask, why does your bed look like a single? Correct me if Im wrong I thought that they had twin XL beds?

Hi! Awesome! It was a twin XL! Basically it means that it's a twin size bed but a little bit longer, not really wider? If that makes sense? Sorry if I'm bad at explaining, but the bed was definitely bigger than a twin size bed.
