This song was created, composed and sung by Kevin Keens Douglas in Grenada West Indies around 1963. This is his natural voice on the track. The original 45 has his name on the record when it was done. He sent me a copy which is somewhere around but hard to find now. Kevin left Grenada and went to the U.S. where he played guitar with the Cinnamon Suns for some time, then he moved to Canada, India, England and later returned to Grenada. He also did many beautiful pieces. You can also hear that voice under that same LP with Frank Blaize on the label. It was also the same voice doing "Talk of love", but he was then with the Cinnamon Suns. He also did a few albums with the Hare Khrishna organization with which he is actively involved. Kevin is also an avid painter/artist and some of his works are located throughout the Banks in Grenada. Very talented fellow. Keep on doing what you doing Totes. O'connell

Bass sounds similar to - Right by your side - by the Eurythmics.
@amayalayne9779Ай бұрын
Sounds more like the Eurythmics "borrowed" the bass line!!! Hope they acknowledged the source.

@@amayalayne9779 -Hopefully, they probably didn't realise keen listeners would notice the similarities.
