Thanks a bunch for uploading this! My vinyl copy got warped from laying in direct sunlight :( Probably was homesick for Jamaica and didn't care for the Swedish climate. Especially glad to hear Val Bennett's "Bogie reggae" again, haven't been able to track it down anywhere. Big up!

@Keegan Corey I really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and I'm in the hacking process atm. Seems to take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.

Some truly rare tracks . The Gaylads have an even better version of " 100 pounds . " MARCIA is probably Marcia Griffiths . The Album title is a reference to " Grazin in the Grass " which was played constantly in the late 1960's on the radio .

It's not THE GAYLADS that is singing ( One hundred pounds of clay) , it's THE CLAREDONIANS Nuff, Nuff: THE BLACKSTONES

"Grazing in the grass" was by South African trumpeter Hugh Masekela. Sounds as if echo has been added to these tracks by the uploader. Not sure it works that well.

Who can pick out the great WINSTON FRANCIS on this album cover with others dancing to the rocksteady? THE BLACKSTONES

It looks like the 1969 Jamaican musical statue contest was a real success, but who did it best!?

That first song hits like a Jackie Chan roundhouse. A Hugh Masekela cover, slower, poppin more on the 2 and 4. Damn that swings.
