I'm not a fan of nates' new stuff. What he had with Iya Terra was magical. This seems mediocre, in my opinion.. obviously, they are different vibes of music, but aurorawave doesn't have me wanting to listen to the next song or remember word for wor. In other words, it's very forgettable.

I hear your words and I get what you're saying. I personally preferred Iya Terra as well, and I still listen to Iya Terra more than I do Aurorawave, but I also understand that he's taking a risk and trying something new. He's a metalhead in a reggae world and he wants to try to bridge the gap. Reggae with breakdowns is a little jarring to say the least, but Im just happy he's still trying to be authentic to himself and what he likes. I am hopeful that through time, trial and error, and perseverance, he will find a way to make the two mesh more cohesively. At the end of the day, I really like Nate, and I want to support him during this time of musical transition for him. What was your fav/most magical Iya Terra track? :) (btw, do you have any idea what happened to Iya Terra? I am in the dark on that situation.)
