Jimmy Cliff is always one of my favorite artists from I was just a kid. His songs and music has impacted and inspired me seriously. I was so happy when he (Jimmy Cliff got the first IRIE FM LIVING LEGEND LIFETIME AWARD back in 2017. Jimmy Cliff just keeps pressing on.

I was lucky to enjoy the great Jimmy Cliff concert in Kinshasa, Congo ( Zaïre, back then) end 1980s; I was in my early 20s.. It was incredible! Saw Jimmy and his group in Portland Oregon back in the 90's. I made friends with his guitar player at the time, Richie Barr. We had all the members over for dinner. It was truly wonderful. Sweet bunch of guys. 🥰 Jimmy's music is so timeless and sprit filled. ❤️🙏 And... damn... he's still got it !
