I love this player, too bad he never got the recognition he deserved, if he wasn't on such a injury prone he would have been better than Figo and Rui Costa, maybe even the best Portuguese of all time. He was an outstanding talent, his football was beautiful, pure magic, maybe he should have gone to Inter instead of Atlético Madrid

One of the top 5 players of his generation. He chose a bad club after winning the european champions cup with Porto. If, instead of going to Atletico, he had chosen Inter, Futre would have been one of the all time greatest players. He is the 2nd best Portuguese player in modern football just after Ronaldo. He was CLEARLY much better than Figo.
