They can't have been too hard if KZbin videos got you through them. Probably more boredom than anything I'm guessing. I don't see how someone is getting over the death of a loved one, depressing or anything just from these videos. Yeah my children all died but after watching these guys reminiscing about Death Row I got over it!

Unfortunately, this happens in other areas of life: Corporate, Sports, etc. All it takes is one person to feel that they’re not being properly compensated and things get chaotic. Results differ based on the situation. In the street(s), you can lose your life.

Craziest part of all this is, we're talking about what was supposed to be A RECORD LABEL... That sells records to exist, but we're discussing gangsta shit & gangstas don't live that long, word to Scarface. It was inevitable for Deathrow or Tha Row to end how it ended.

I remember when Death Row first hit the scene and Dr. Dre was the face of the company, back then Suge was a Myth. Few people even knew what he looked like you just heard that the real owner of Death Row was this huge ass blood dude but nobody ever seen him. Suge wanted fame and recognition and that was the fall of Death Row, Suge had nobody over him and the whole industry was afraid of him and this is what you get when the blind lead the blind, suge needed advisers, somebody to inform him of bad decisions znd most of all he should have stayed his ass in the office behind a damn desk.

@@daysofgrace7818 the thing is I understand why people say he's the GOAT. I just don't agree. I have to be ecstatic every time I hear one of his records and that's not always the case. @daysofgrace7818
@daysofgrace7818 Жыл бұрын
@@avace917 the term GOAT is just over used! It’s subjective to these people. To me it’s not. I think an artist’s abilities and achievements is measurable. Tupac was neither the best artist ability wise, and he didn’t achieve the most either. He deserves his place, but not the best. He was certainly better than pretty much any artist that has come out in the last 15 years or so. But he wasn’t the greatest of his era (the 90s). I’d put Kool G Rap, Nas, Big L, Biggie, Pun and Ghost Face ahead of him. And Rass Kass could be a shout too!

I guess I can respond to yesterday's and today's video. Conflict between people, especially in the black community is INEVITABLE!! No matter the gang or representation. Sometimes you get along with a supposed enemy better than your comrades. I was just having a conversation yesterday about this same thing. There is so much residue from slavery on OUR people there can be no organization and camaraderie that last. Even the family structure can never stay in tact. At least in general. Some stay close. Most don't. Now you have gang members that come from a cut throat environment where poverty is the norm and hunger pains hurt. You have more food on your plate than I do, and self preservation is the first law of nature. So what is bound to happen? Jealousy, envy, robbery, murder etc. ©2023

The truth is, the "homeboy security" model was never sustainable. The leadership at Death Row wasn't any good, so it was inevitable that the hired goons lower on the pecking order were gonna crash out like they did over petty issues. Bountry's the only one I've heard about that at least tried to do something outside of being "muscle," ie he was managing Darren Vegas. Aside from that, once the label started crumbling, everybody just reverted back to all they knew: violence and the streets.

Hey @reggiewright we wanna hear from the other homeboy security that was around through different time zones. Like from 89 to death row ending. Just different aspects because we love mob James but sometimes his theory or understanding of explaining these stories comes off biased. Then he holds himself from saying certain things. Maybe if you bring in different aspects of what was going on, the viewers can get different results or understandings or answers I should say. Might even get something that refreshes your memory on different situations. Like I said, love the podcast but we at a standstill on topics now
