I'm so glad Barry & Larry the Lumberjack Cousins made a cameo in the story with Brenda It's just like Super Mario Cat World all over again

This was a super funny episode. The AI demonstrated a remarkable grasp of properties (I would not have expected it to assign appropriate skills to the kitchens trio!), but it’s not the first AI writer I’ve seen struggle with the concept of character identity. I specifically recall one time where the AI kept on changing characters’ names to David. Eventually there were three or four Davids. This seems like something that would be easy for an AI to keep straight, but I guess it’s not.

So many of these books should be animated. AI is both terrifying and amazing.

Man, the AI sure had a lot of fun with Stephen's prompt. It even had to cut itself off at the end, so it didn't spiral further. 😂

Watching the AI complete these stories was hilarious and amazing. I kinda wonder what would happen if the AI had to tie all of the stories together and seeing how far off the rails it could go trying to do so

It's safe to say that the AI was thinking with portals. XD

The AI is good at randomness, it looks like. Which to be fair is kind of what we probably should've expected; humans are notoriously bad at being truly random, whereas machines are good at convincingly approximating it. But that last story, the twist of "actually this was my own mental insecurities," wow. That was an impressive turn of events.

I got really confused and wondered who Al was, thinking Alex couldn't possible have written so many paragraphs in the books.

A lot of this doesn't seem like AI, which I guess goes to show how advanced these things are, but every so often there's something that no human mind would come up with. There's also plenty of parts that sound like a kid telling a story with their toys.
@carolineodom64202 жыл бұрын
Can't say I love this concept - I watch these videos in particular to see what y'all will come up with, and the AI takes some of the fun out of it. The Stephen and Friends Group is funnier than the AI, for sure.
@BlameThande2 жыл бұрын
This was a fun idea. As a future alternative, maybe you could do alternating human and AI writing segments (or randomised so you don't know if you're getting a human- or AI-written one?)

So, equal amount of AI's and human players? That might be good.

I'd like to see this with them alternating between player and AI. with the AI taking over 3/4 of the book it loses the randomness of what the group makes.
Broken AI Phone is amazing. Please bring the AI back for future episodes. Maybe even have the humans spread out through the book if possible. So human, 2 AI pages, Human, 2 AI, Human, and then AI finishing it up.

The structure for this episode has some problems. It would have been much better for it to go Human -> AI -> Human -> AI, etc, instead of just 3 humans then AI until the end. Another problem that is much more serious is that the AI went back to back, remembering all of the previous things it replied to, including itself, ruining the base concept of Broken Picture Phone (and Broken Phone). This combined with variable length led to an episode that was just 3 pages of broken picture phone per book being put into an AI that was just let to go as long as it wanted, and was in the end just an AI making a story with the pages signifying length rather than individual parts.
@MsMeiriona2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, pretty much, there was not much broken phone here, just AI writing based on a single prompt, which, isn't that fun.

I especially enjoy Ai Ace Attorney cases. For how random and humorous they spiral into. Sometimes the host will write lines for Phoenix, but usually the Ai absolutely carries every instance.

While I enjoyed some of the stories from this episode I'm not quite sure how I feel about the whole thing as a whole I think the fact that the AI knew aspects that in normal BPP would have easily been lost due to how the game works and was able to bring them back up later kinda ruins it in a way. It both makes it to where it goes much too wild while also making it completely contained. With how the AI is, effectively the entire story can't get completely derailed from little details being added or lost, or just human error in some way which can be half the fun of it when looking through
@MsMeiriona2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, especially since the AI gets to have the entire end, giving the AI two or three pages, and having them randomly placed, so it doesn't always have the final say, might be better.
