Reggie's not telling the truth about this whole story. Those 2 dudes helped Reggie's family out financially (not him directly) with an agreement he would repay them once he got drafted. Reggie and his family ignored their calls and never repaid them. Those 2 then decided to talk to the NCAA. I'm not agreeing with them snitching just telling u what happened. They claimed Reggie and his family wanted no more association with them bc of their criminal history.

Reggie lied about Michael being a felon, as someone who used to know him personally I’m not aware of any criminal charges that were against him. That’s not the issue, whether he was getting illegal benefits or not there have been countless Heisman trophy winners throughout history who’ve gotten benefits and didn’t get their Heisman stripped. They used his parents living at that house as the only proof that he was getting illegal benefits, they did a half ass investigation knowing that they wanted to excoriate Reggie Bush and punish USC, it was a tactical move and unethical on their part. The fact that the men who investigated are convicted felons tells you that there was foul involved in this which is why when they tried to give Reggie’s Heisman to Vince Young he declined
