Reggie Goes on a Rant Fishing Beers Lake, MN

Beers lake is located in northern Minnesota in Ottertail County, and is inside the Maplewood State Park. Its a small lake at only 267 acres, but has big possibilities for some trophy fish. We found it to have lots of largemouth bass in the 13 inch range. We also caught plenty of bluegills, some of which were chased by muskies!

Wow’s that looks a lot like a lake we just fished yesterday. A lot of bass but all very small 6-8 inches. It was a new lake for us too. Thanks From Wisconsin

Maplewood is an awesome park. Some pretty pristine areas in there.

I stopped at Maplewood on the way home from a Yellowstone trip. I liked it so much, I booked my next fishing trip there. There are plenty more lakes to fish up there, so I will be back.
