I hate how lazy and uninspired the media can be. Instead of appreciating Anthony Edwards for the player that he’s becoming. Instead of appreciating Kobe Bryant for the player that he became. We have to find a way to downplay what they’re doing because it doesn’t equal to what Michael Jordan did. Instead of allowing those guys to be the first version of themselves, we have to compare their greatness to the guy who came before them. Player comparisons can be fun but they can also become toxic and ridiculous.

He wasn't really hating on Edwards...saying you're Dwayne Wade with a jumpshot is really high praise...that's just short of saying he's MJ.
@juliusmoore21768 ай бұрын
I’m totally with you! When it comes to the MJ vs LeBron debate, I don’t pay attention anymore. It’s kind of pointless at this point. Both are all time greats and everyone has an opinion regarding the goat. 🐐 As for Ant Man, he’s definitely fun to watch. I’m taking it all in and simply enjoying his rise to NBA Superstardom.

I live in Indiana, born and raised. I was a Knicks fan and still am. I got so much hate growing up for that. And I was watching the infamous game where Reggie went off and did something that I had never seen before. So I definitely am not a fan of Reggie or the Pacers. And to pour salt in an old wound, my youngest son loves the Pacers ! So this series is going to be very fun to watch with him. Too bad for him and the Pacers though because the Knicks are knocking them out of the playoffs!

Definitely not boring. Stop romanticizing the past. There are so many fantastic stars in the league right now. We're living in a golden age of NBA stars. LeBron, Durant, Steph, Giannis, Embiid, Jokic, Edwards, Brunson, Doncic, Kawhi, PG, Kyrie, Butler, Maxey, Haliburton, Mitchell, Lillard, AD, Shai, Wembanyama, Tatum, Brown. The league is chock full of absolute ballers right now. Enjoy it.

@jordanblarson8 ай бұрын
What are you talking about? The Pacers went to the ECF in 2013 and 2014, and took LeBron, D-Wade, and Bosh to 7 and 6 games those years. They were the greatest threat to the Heat when LeBron was there. They've been to playoffs so many times in the past 20 years too. They just haven't been able to get over the hump.
