Thanks for the video. RC is a very convenient destination for me now since I can fly direct from Manchester (£30 ryanair return), which I did a few months ago. The advice was very helpful, and I think the city has a lot more to offer for tourists than people think especially with scilla and tropea being so close too!

Molto bello. Mi piace ascoltare tutto che dici. I especially enjoyed hearing about the famous quote about the lungomare being the most beautiful kilometer in Italy. I used to visit Reggio Calabria when I was an exchange student in Rome. Now I am teaching English to foreign students in Houston, Texas. Ciao!

Thanks a lot Christina. Calabria is still an unknown place to a lot of people (even Italian). My target is to publish more videos about it. I have never been in Texas even if I have been twice in New York and once in Florida. I am sure Houston is a nice place to live, I know there is a lot of tech startups around there 😉

@@lovehappyadventures hello Yes definitely. I would do a different plan: Visit Gambarie (there is a bus bringing you there). It is a mountain with view on Sicily and the sea. It is beautiful. I would visit some old Greek village too. Are you by car?

@MarcoFaski 5 ай бұрын

I lived there for almost a year. I absolutely hated it and could not wait to get the hell out. It is very filthy and the people are rude to foreigners. Beaches are full of garbage and raw sewage dumps right into the water.
@MarcoFaski
@MarcoFaski 11 ай бұрын
It is very important to provide all the views. There were a lot of problems with the administration, which caused garbage issues. Now the issue is addressed but I can imagine it is not easy to accept for a foreigner (I fully understand your point). I am so sorry if people have been not kind to you but perhaps this is linked to most of the people not able to speak English. If you will ever come back, I hope you can experience a totally different situation to the one you described (perhaps if I happen to be there, I can be your guide) 😎
