I fully agree the Mon should be alive to use the reencounter dice although it would be wild if you just got the opportunity to re encounter but you don't get to pick the mon just the route that way there's a gamble

The revive perk was already almost never chosen in the previous series. A re-encounter is a much weaker version of the revive. Yes I MAY re-encounter a legendary, but a revive guarantees I use it on a legendary/broken that I had and lost.

They tried that before and it was basically never used over the other perks. Allowing a pokemon access to held items, or tm's is way more useful than one random re encounter.

I don't think they are picking pokemon. He just gets a reencounter. He does get to pick the route and can use dupe clause but that's it. His reencounter could possibly be another bad mon, fail, etc and it uses more of his resources.

Re-encounter dice definitely should only use alive mons to switch. Without that rule, you basically just get two mons per route🤷‍♂️. Lovin the content y’all! Keep it up!

Two mons per route, BUT you can't have them both the same time cos you got to wait for one to die. And it's a one off perk so not like it's free. Items and TMs still going to have a much bigger impact. They ain't going to choose this perk once they have a good set of mons to give those perks to.

Not even close to being as powerful as the tm or items, I think that the trading a live pokemon is silly, the original re-encounter dice was you get it once and go back to any route and get a free mon. That was good. Also,, you could pocket that till the very end and after seeing all the available options you can go get the best, or if you get down bad you could get a better mon from a previous route so it acts like a balancer as well. Gotta say I disagree with Chenzo on this one. He nerfed his own creation, looks especially bad after it benefited Dylan. (Not saying Vinny is being scummy. I'm sure he had planned to make that how it works but if it wasn't explicit in the start then it should be used as written.)

@@ShroudedBlade exactly. a perk should always give the user a clear benefit. Like Tms and items. And that's why Dylan understood it as you can trade in a dead mon. For this new re-encounter dice, there is a chance that you end off worse than before. I rather it be used in a way you can force your opponent to re-encounter. That way you can make them lose a legendary/broken mon.

In my opinion, the re-encounter dice should only be used if the pokemon is alive. In a previous series Vinny got yelled at for trading a dead pokemon with an NPC. Same thing will happen if Mr. Plays does the same thing

I agree with Vinny. Re-encounter dice should be used to put up a Pokémon that is alive. You both knew the rules in the beginning that to use it you would have to put up the Pokémon you caught in that route. It makes sense to exchange for something alive and not dead

Your layout is almost perfect. You could make the gameplay windows as bigger Try removing the space above the counters & moving them over right next to the badges. Then you could increase the size of the gameplay windows & put a logo between the counters. Scarlet & Violet to me are the better games definitively despite the glitches and graphics. The open environment and story line are so much better, but don’t lend themselves to replay ability due to how big the game really is. Especially since the game doesn’t scale. And personal bias, I like the Sword & Shield Pokémon just a smidge more.
