Nice job. I always loved this song. Regina Spektor is one of my favorite writers/performers... it'll be interesting to watch her music mature as she grows older. Not that she's not deeep now... but I imagine her style will broaden even more with age. Russian girl I just love her.

The wire represents a relationship. One bird want to make a new one with the 2nd bird. However the 2nd bird is holding on to a wire, probably a past relationship.. The 2nd bird doesn't want to let go, so they make up exuses for not leaving. "I'm tired, the sky's overcast" They think they don't matter to the 1st bird.. In the end they hold on to the wire and get left behind.. At least that what I think..

I think it's because seeing a visual representation of the song subconsciously transfers the video maker's interpretation onto us.

The song is talking about one trys to move to quickly and the other says he will but he never does basicly one try to move forward way too fast but the other wants too stay were they are (at least that's my perspective)
