This was perhaps the first song, and she has many great ones, that made me take a closer listen to Regina Spektor's piano playing. It's masterful not because of any overt displays of virtuosity but because of its simplicity, phrasing and tasteful use of time and space. The foot stomps are just gravy by a supremely gifted artist doing her thing. She really goes to church on this one. Thank you Leo Vieyra for posting this and to Regina Spektor, too. ;)
