I noticed after rewatching the episode when Klaus gose to the after life, Hardgrives seem a lot nicer, even slightly fatherie, he call Klas his son, and even seem worried about Luther.

The part where Luther told him he is the only one left probably pinched his cold unfeeling heart a little. And then he sent him to the moon for nothing to push him further away. Maybe he even realize how he destroyed all their chances of being productive healthy adults and regrets it a little. Hell the most emotionally healthy person is the one who died in his teens (ben) and the one that got stuck in the future (five).

Why is Reginald Evil? - He Neglected His Adoptive Children, especially Vanya/Viktor - Despised Them After Ben’s Death - He Rejected Leonard/Harold, despised him and humiliated him - He Killed Luther - He betrayed and abandoned Klaus - He almost got his adoptive children killed by guardians - He never cared about any of his adoptive children or anybody - He never read Luther’s Letters - He played Grace and turned her into a robot - All he ever wants is to resurrect or bring back his Wife and only cares about her - He manipulated his adoptive children, especially Ben who he had look up to him and made him number 1 - He also made Ben kill Jayme - He tried to kill his adoptive children and drain their energy and power - He experimented on them, especially Luther who he had brought back by turning his body into an ape, probably not that bad but is it bad? - He probably did the same to Christopher, once human turned into a cube - He made Pogo smart, and also experimented on him - He experiments people - Killed the Majestic 12 - Made a large empire - Got involved to Kennedy’s assassination - *He’s a manipulative mean and selfish person who only cares about himself and his dead wife.*

I dreamt of his Man. It had been weeks since I last watched the show and I suddenly dreamed of it. I was walking from a mission along with the others. We each went to our rooms. Allison went with me. We are still children. On the mirror, I looked at myself and my mask have no white to cover my eyes. And I look terribly similar to Leonard Peabody as a child mixed woth Ben as a child. I asked Allison who's laying down at my bed to borrow her monocle and she said Father took it. I was about to go out of my room then suddenly Mr Reginald Hargreeves, dad, knocked open my door. He showed me my drawings from my notebooks. He was amazed by it and asked if there were more. I gave him some of my notebooks which I assumed had drawings in them. Note: this drawings are irl, I actually had drawings of superheroes I made on my notebooks and couponbonds. After giving some of my notebooks, I asked to borrow his monocle and he gave me. I tried it on my face while Allison watches over. I cant seem to fit in it or wear it properly. I even saw crazyshits with it but still cant wear it and after few minutes of doing so, Mr Reginald came back praising my drawings and asking for more. I cant find him notebooks so I gave him couponbonds. He is literally inlove with the designs and character. Like he's planning something with them. With his stern voice, he praises them and it brought me fcking joy I never had before. Then we both examine my drawings and I told them it's stories. I saw some drawings there I dont remember but I still tried to explain and now Im awake I know I did not draw them but hell they look epic. Then I woke up with Mr Reginald's admiration in my heart. Then I came to watch his and saw he was a prick. But the voice is still the same and he looked more like the younger im my dreams.

I think I just predicted Reginald's attitude when he was under drugs in Season 3. I havent watched Season 3 when I dreamed this, or it wasn't released yet. The way Klaus and Reginald would talk and Reginald says "Facinating!" Sounds and feels a lot like the reginald in my Dream Hahaha.

The only good/redeeming thing about Reginald Hargreeves is that he genuinely cares about his wife. He created The Umbrella Academy so that they could help him revive her by "resetting" the universe.
