Regine is using her falsetto nowadays to reach some high notes rather than belting as sometimes it cracks when she uses her normal voice the way she normally sings. Her falsetto is really high. Of this, I got addicted to medleys too. The song you were unfamiliar with is called "Dadalhin" and that broke records real crazy. During regine's younger days the fame of that song is even much morethan "Araw Gabi". It's all over karaoke bars. And through the years, she would reimagine the versions, from acoustic, to dramatic ballad, and so on. One more thing, that note you hear her singing on, is FEW OCTAVES HIGHER THAN THE Original recording of that song, imagine singing the songs you recorded in your 20's or 30's, now in your 50's few OCTAVES HIGHER than the original, it's just not so human but hey is Regine a human? Lyka has a lot of things to improved. The other two girls were consistent, stable and has better timbre. While Lyka would only focus on belting. Lyka has a distinct tone hence you can clearly hear her voice during harmonies and if you listen closely she has pitch issues hence making their harmony a bit off. Whereas the boys harmonized well because they adjusted their vocal tones so they would sound as one. Regine did well here. Regine is known for her strong, sharp and clean falsettos. I think you just noticed it now since the arrangement was in the Male Key. Making it very high for a female to sing.

It's been a tradition that when RVA's concerts are approaching, she magically loses weight within a short period. Lately, Ogie has been physically training her to run, to swim, to walk under the sun. Ogie knows the job because, the truth is... As long as the biggest young Divas are alive and singing.. name a few, Jona Mori, Kat, Regine might not claim that out of her humility, BUT THESE ARE HER LIVING LEGACY, THIS IS THE TRUTH. The OPM music industry wouldn't have produced these Musical princesses if there was no legacy that they once dreamed to follow .... None of the young musical princesses WOULD DENY THAT. NONE OF THEM.
