i love regine.shes timeless. her style, flawless, her mettle, unmatched. but there is a part of me thats nagging. i hope someone can advise her that she should shift gears and reinvent herself as an artist so she can preserve her voice. no need to prove that she could blow those treacherous notes of out the water. she has proven that for the last 35 years or so. she must focus now on finding her real center and start singing for the one true source of such magnificent gift, to sing not to impress nor prove, but to use that voice to honor her Creator and sing her true purpose. then, she will age gracefully and more beautifully. i love you my diva. no one compares to you. pls take care of your voice because i wanna hear you sing forever.

“I Don’t Wanna Miss a Thing” has just been sealed yet again by a 50-year old Regine Velasquez! More than 2 decades after its release, and the song is still (and always will be) synonymous to REGINE VELASQUEZ. Regine’s tone is almost the same, seemingly unchanged except for some gorgeous raspy notes towards the outro which added spice to this performance. There are two particular things I noticed with her in this video: First, I think that was her outfit in her MEGA Magazine cover last January 2019 (not really sure about this, though it kinda look a like) which concludes that she is truly a vampire (and dang, let’s all admit that she’s getting sexier and gorgeous as time passes by). Second, it is the original key she sang which sounds dazzling and powerful, and proves the vast that she is REIGNING still. Deym, after I watched this video I felt so Flabbergasted.
