This was mainly because Regine was the host of the singing contest where Sarah won 15 years ago. Ms. Regine saw all her (Sarah's) hardships and how she persevered throughout the years, to be where she is right now. And despite their busy schedules and the fact that the two of them are from diff networks then (not anymore since Ms. Regine just signed with ABS-CBN), they still maintained a close relationship and considers each other as family.

Hi Mum, Thank you for this reaction video!! This actually was earlier this year in Regine's 30th year anniversary. The one you watched earlier of Sarah G. Was months after this one in Sarah's 15th year anniversary. She just doesn't age. She's not the best belter we have here, but she's up there and she can belt if needed, Sarah, but damn she's the most versatile Ive seen. Others can belt, so is Sarah. But Sarah can do different genre proficiently which Regine affirmed in an interview (Saying that Sarah can still do a lot with her voice), She can dance and her stage presence is second to none. Also 15 years ago, Regine would also pick Sarah to suceed her in terms of fame. And several times, Regine remarked that when she saw Sarah went on stage in the Grand finals of that Singing Contest she (Regine) hosted, she told herself "Oh my God, we have a winner", then proceed to say, "and now, we have a Superstar". Regine really dotted a lot on Sarah. Even in a recent Concert where they both sang, Regine even said that she is "such a fan" of Sarah. Of course, Regine has always been Sarah's idol.
