In a very rare duet, Ms. REGINE VELASQUEZ and Mr. BASIL VALDEZ mesmerized the audience with a very unusual medley of SALAMIN NG BUHAY and THE WINDMILLS OF YOUR MIND! I figured that somehow these two songs were interrelated with each other musically and it would really be intriguing to merge them and create a counterpoint (mash up) at the very end. I created a cello solo (played by Niño Llorin) accompanying Regine's The Windmills of Your Mind to match the cello solo (played by Renato Lucas) of Ryan Cayabyab's arrangement of Basil's Salamin ng Buhay to spark a conversation between the two cellos.
