As a recording technician, sigaw is not the right technical term to describe her performance in this particular video. ung power o lakas ng bigay ng sound is called resonance, wala nmn masama kung mas mabigay ang bigay ng boses ng isang singer, pero hnd ibig sabihin ay sumisigaw. high notes is delivered with powerful voice. wala akong narinig na highnotes na pabulong, or has been delivered softly. High notes can be delivered either; by falsetto, head voice, chest voice or mixed. HIndi naman puro sigaw yung kanta, nagsimula naman sila sa mababa, but as the arrangement requires more power and resonance, and so the performer should apply it. I used the word incomparable not pertaining to this single video but to the more of her performance, meaning (in general). I used that word because that has been also used to describe her by even her co-performers, co-singers, musicians, professionals in this industry. I did not meant to make the other performer on this video less of a singer, but i weigh my opinion based on the history of RVA's performances.

Rexie, kung di ka pa nakarinig ng high notes na delivered softly, I've got examples. Listen to this, particularly to how she sings the word "love": watch?v=_gDSXfoHYS0&t=843 Very soft, then loud. Here's another one, by the same singer, showing soft but full high notes. Watch the entire clip: watch?v=MBPuTeQ5mdc This is actually harder than full-out belting. It requires very firm lateral closure of the vocal folds without forceful pinching, and abdominal tension without causing the voice to squeeze. It's like belting while holding back, without sounding pinched or flipping into head voice. Also consider that this singer is 58 years old--12-13 years older than Regine--and has been singing all her life. Her technical prowess is off the charts! But I agree with you on everything else. What Regine has is taste. Tama lang ang timpla niya. Many other Filipino belters don't seem to understand the value of restraint, phrasing, and expression, which is why they sound somewhat mediocre despite their vocal abilities. Props din kay Dessa. Nagagalingan ako sa kanya.
