Regine was totally unstoppable in the 90s, di hinahapo, di humihina, di nagdedecrease ang power. Mas lumalakas pa ang buga sa bawat kanta sa repertoire kaya napagtanto ko na wala talaga siyang katulad, not even these weakass divettes nowadays that can’t even finish the 1st set of show without sweating and panting. Grabe. Style nya talaga yan. Yong akala mo yon na, tapos may itataas pa at may ibubuga pa pala. Tapos magtataka ka na lang kung pano nya nagagawa yon. I remember back then when I was in college in the 90’s. Manghang-mangha kaming lahat kay Regine. Lalo na sya lang talaga sa mga sikat na singers noon ang kumakanta ng mga pinakamahirap na mga kanta na hindi binababaan ang key, at minsan tinataasan pa lalo. It’s only now na meron nang finally mga batang singers na kaya nang pantayan birit nya. Although not the same power and quality.

Martin Labuson yes! This was originally arranged for Isang Pasasalamat but she didn’t get to sing it there coz it rained. She sang it for the first time at the Asia Music Scene concert held in Manila if I’m not mistaken.

Mas Mataas daw yung ke KV Sabi ni Sotero Nepumuceno bayun? Totoo ba.. I think it's the same key eh.. But Regine's transitions is smooth and isn't breathy not to mention her voice in here is controlled, she can adjust her volume to maximize her upper register, I don't know how she do it and I can't explain her voice.
