@@bridgereyes951 ahhh ok..un usual..meron pa ksing mga subcategories bwat classification ng mga singers example nlng sa soprano marami niyan subcategories Coloratura- highest and lightest voice type, can hit extremely high notes on the 6th and 7th octave with ease, agility Example -Morisette Amon, Katrina Valerde, Lani Full Lyric/Light lyric -bright, clear feminine fuller sound all throughout the range, agile, can sustain highnotes with ease on the 5th octave, may hit 6th octave notes depending on the technique Example- Regine, Sheryn Regis Spinto -dark timbre on the voice but can hit the same highnotes of a lyric soprano Example - Jona, Dessa Dramatic -thicker and deep strong voice, powerful, and a voice that is even on the entire range Example -Dulce, Charice.

Agree, Regine being a former Light Lyric Soprano now a Full Lyric soprano, her high tessitura sits way up on F#5, G5, G#5 kaya sisiw lng sa kanya niyan..anytime na gsto niyang ibato niyan, magagawa niya.

Listen to the original it's much smoother. Regine was singing Joy to the World with that run for 20 years. She can't hit all the notes that Mariah did.

@@guyarthurorigin she can hit all the same notes as Mariah did, better watch her Joy to the world version on "Christmas on a High note concert" And there is no need to compare, Mariah is an Alto with Coloratura soprano abilities which gives her the advantage with her 5octave range to do quicker vocal runs, octave leaps, dynamic vocal shifts which are the realm of all Coloratura sopranos, but that doesn't mean Regine can't hit them, Regine is more of a full lyric soprano, more fuller, brighter sound, the ability to sustain high notes with power, yes they can do the fast vocal agility of a Coloratura, it's not their cup of tea as that would be vocal tiring on their instrument.
