One thing that was never mentioned between the two versions- Regine rendition is accompanied by a live orchestra and so you can just imagine just how powerful her vocals really is because it was never overwhelm/ drawn out by the accompaniment as opposed to Katrina's rendition which was done with a taped accompaniment.

Exactly, enricotoloy. A live orchestra accompaniment can easily drown any singer's vocals...unless...the vocalist happens to have an incredible, skyrocketing voice as the Asia's Songbird's.

I always,always super love your every Regine Velasquez' reactions..and the younger generations must appreciate her more than those who somewhat cliche'd internet famous and so as those amateur singers who are undeniably good but let's just say over rated and exaggeratedly sounding like someone else's with diff'rent techniques (but most of them were nasal singers) who can belt notes that may even be higher than the Everest but lacked in emotions..Ms.Regine on the other hand sings with all her heart and never fails to connect with her audience plus she's not trying to be like someone else when she's singing,she's super natural..and sorry to those Morisette fans but she seemed like she's trying to immitate Sarah G. specially her facial expressions most particularly the way she frowns and all her grimace whenever she does her high notes,its so unnatural(Charice and Sarah G) puts a little swag on whenever they sing and it seemed like Mori wants to be like them..she's loosing her true self already..i've seen her first audition and even watched her journey to stardom and i like her better before she become who she is ATM..now,she's too made up and trying to fit in..talent and attitude is a must to reach Ms.Regine's level..its always better to be naturally unique who doesn't even have to try bcuz she's being herself..

Now she's trying to be K-pop-ish! 😂😂 It's funny that you're charging morisette of not being original when Sarah and Charice cannot boast of having their own style and artistic identity that ONLY BELONGS TO THEM 🤣 that's why even with Sarah being more popular she wasn't exactly an accomplished hit maker and she's already experiencing flop after flop concerts 🤣🤣 her versions are unoriginal and generic and safe. so many haters. but no one can beat the Queen. cause when you hear regine its not just about singing. its about passion and humility. from being a singer to being an actress(well awarded best actress and box office queen, made 14 movies, 7 television series and counting) tv host( hosted several shows until now; even won best tv host). theatre actress. director(she directed r2k concert and it was a historical concert) she is good in cooking(cooking show). she paints and sketch( there are lots of evidences that she can)
