Thanks for the kind words. Good luck in your future games with the list. As for BT16 / EX6, I've been messing with the deck and testing some things out but haven't really settled on anything concrete. I think EX1 melga is still good, and I would probably start running the High-Speed Plug-In D option to get around all the blockers in the format.

few questions: 1: How often did blitz omni come up in the tournament where you felt like you needed it/do you think it's cutable? 2: what do you think about purple mat instead of davis or not playing a mem setter at all trying blue boost or another sec bomb? 3. Isn't the jamming egg a little redundant if you play 7 battle protection effects? 4. In the scenario where you have a stack with proto under and they would remove it and you use proto and you take garuru x back to your hand can you still protect or no? Any links to help me learn would be very much appreciated

1: Blitz Omni won me two or three matches, simply by serving as the final swing for game. It's also good to just go into early even if you don't swing for game - just to leave a lv7 on the board with protection against some removal effects. I also evo'd into Merciful Mode for 3 memory a couple times during the tournament over Blitz Omni, which felt great. 2: I have been testing both Davis and purple Matt, and I valued the Davis more for the hand fixing possibilities. Bricking in a tournament feels really bad. However, a case could be made for the purple Matt too - getting to play him for 1 memory sometimes due to BT15 Garurumon / gaining a memory for your various discard effect cards. I have thought about cutting the memory setter, but less tamers means my Sagittarius Mode will activate its main effect less often, and I value it too much in this format. 3: The jamming egg is busted. Even if you have battle protection cards in your stack - jamming means you don't have to strip your sources and you get to save those sources for when you pass turn when your opponent might try to swing over your stack. If this deck could run x4 copies of the BT14 Bukamon, it would be disgusting. (As we saw before the March restrictions.) Think of the jamming egg as insurance for your battle protection pieces. 4: If your stack is being removed via battle, and you activate Proto Form before protecting from battle, and you take out your Garuru x - I don't think you can protect from battle anymore at that point. Unless you have another instance of battle protection in your stack after removing the Garuru x. Hope this helps.

I thought you couldn't use mental training with the warp effect . Did something change

Nah, it works. As long as you have a Matt on the field and the opponent has a digimon 10k DP or higher, you can pop your Mental Training and then go into BT15 MetalGarurumon on your Gabumon. The BT15 MetalGarurumon effect just allows a Gabumon to ignore digivolution requirements, but still makes you pay 4 memory. Mental Training says "1 of your digimon may digivolve into a blue digimon card in your hand for its digivolution cost." So you're digivolving your Gabumon into BT15 Melga, but you're using the Mental Training delay effect to do so. You can do the same thing with Wisdom Training, an Impmon, and BT2 Beelzemon (assuming you have 10 or more cards in the trash).
