I was taught Nancy Reagan, Reagan Nancy. First Inject air into NPH (Nancy) and then inject air into Regular (Reagan), then draw medication from Regular (Reagan) and then draw from NPH (Nancy). Idk if this will help anyone but it helped me remember 😊

in my program the mnemonic we use is nicole richie, RN so inject air into nph, then regular, then withdraw from regular then from nph. NRRN

a tip i use to remember order: the R comes before N in RN (which we all will be), therefore the (R)egular insulin is drawn before the (N)PH insulin.
