Hello :) Yes, I have free NCLEX-RN reviews on my channel. Here are all the lectures I have organized in a playlist so you can easily browse them: kzbin.info/aero/PLQrdx7rRsKfWwTsEG3KPPQx9rWa8AqMIk Be sure to take each free quiz after watching the video (the quiz links are always in the KZbin description) along with the notes. I hope that helps.

Thirty years ago as a(n) "Ambulance and Emergency Care" student, I learned to associate decorticate posturing with, "Tennis Court" as in, the postioning is alike to holding a tennis raquet, when through the end of the swing. It presents better with the combination of speech and action. Seen it once, remembered it for 30 years.

Remember being a 2nd year ‘F2’ Doctor in the ITU and differentiating the 2 with the word ‘caught’ as with decorticate it appears the patient like a goal keeper had just ‘cort’ a ball and was pulling into their chest

Very HELPFUL for remembering on the GCS scale. I was stumped until this video. DECEREBRATE all those E's four of them. And only a score of 2 on the GCS. GOT IT! Thank you, very much.

Im about to start nursing school in about a month, but I've been taking pathophysiology for the summer. I Must say I am glad I found you! I've used your videos since the start of my class and I have passed every single one of my exams so far. ( I have two more, hopefully I pass those as well lol) Thank you for all that you do! Looking forward to watching more of your videos when I start in August.

Sarah, I watch few of your videos. And one question comes to my mind. Why cant these collage professors teach like you? Instead of setting up path to success these professors try their best to fail you. Specially in Public Universities. God Bless you and remmmeber thousands of students like me, benefits from your lecture.

For those of you who dont know what youre witnessing, its a condition known as Decerebrate Posturing. This happens when a person suffers a significant amount of trauma to the brain, causing the body and its extremities to immediately stiffen. In this case, the limbs stiffened and the head swayed to the side, causing his body to actually balance itself in the standing position (crazy odds there). The fighter has already suffered a potentially life threatening injury from the hit that caused it (48% mortality rate), then sustains an almost equal impact to the head (lowering his survivability rate further) and then gets his nugget bounced off the canvas … The odds of this man simply serving with his life is extremely low…the odds of him surviving without any permanent damage to his ability to move, speak, eat, or anything else is almost no chance at all. ..

Apparently my father in law's arms were in a Decorticate posture when the nursing home staff found him. He died not being able to breathe because he couldn't find his inhaler, would a lack of oxygen to the brain cause that sort of posturing?
