Hello, my beautiful souls! To those of you who wander the vast spaces of sadness and melancholy, here’s my new song for you called ‘Votum’. I hope you enjoy the gloomy atmosphere of the House of Usher (after the story by one and only Edgar Allan Poe), a purgatory place where the might of misery and despair turns into the purifying force and cleanses the aching soul. Upon the strike of midnight, the House transforms into the Gate and accepts the suffering as repentant offering for all the sins, and with the dues paid, grants a pass into a better place, where all is forgiven, and the weary spirit finds peace at last. Also, here’s a little poem of mine, to add to the experience: Dark is my path, dead as the night, Abbys of turmoil, writhing and blight. Pallid my face, and ghastly my grin, Wretched and sullen my spirit within. As I walk down the steep slope of my life, With barren trees all afflicted with strife, Ever I stumble, and ever I fall, Imploring the darkness to answer my call. Twisted I wander, beaten and lame. Riddled with anguish, enshrouded in blame. Just Hope helps me forward in search of the place That's washed by the moonlight, enveloped in grace. Even though the topic today is very dark, I find this melody incredibly beautiful. Horror is not my thing. Too much fear. That's why I don't read horror stories.😱 I once saw a film about Edgar Allen Poe. In this film, his loved one disappeared. The film made me sooooo upset. I was stunned by the whole thing. I was terrified. The locations were eerie and the atmosphere was very depressing and sad. In the end he died on a bench and I cried for him.😭 One of my favorite actors portrayed EAP. I thought he played the role very well. Because I found it so convincing, I was so deeply touched. The film has left a deep impression on me and that's why I can't imagine reading horror stories where everything is described in detail. Books are often even better than the film made with them. However, I read/read books ~ by Carlos Ruiz Zafon. They are often scary, etc. Das Video finde ich sehr beeindruckend . Plötzlich war er so nah vor mir.
