There's something about seeing Sonic crying that makes him seem more... Human to me. Like his normal attitude is a facade to hide the fact that he gets scared and cracks from the pressure just like everyone else. I dunno. It just makes him seem believable to me.

Shadow was hugging sonic to clam him down from crying so loudly because he was telling him to punch him through a wall already but he doesn't want to hurt him dude just stop Whining already sonic was hugging shadow back he was crying still

I actually really hope we get a scene like this, because it is a relatable feeling. To fail people, or to feel like you have failed someone, and you don't know how to fix it? It's hard to deal with, and nobody can stay strong forever.

Shadow knows what it’s like to feel like a failure. Having vowed revenge he once almost broke his promise to Maria to protect the world. That promise is everything to him. Reality being shattered must’ve brought that feeling of failure back. If Sonic wasn’t Sonic, he probably would’ve killed him over it. But he is Sonic and the two though not exactly friends have a brotherly rapport and rivalry.
