I agree with the list that has the Alouettes in seventh place. They came really close to beating the Argonauts that second time around, undone by the missed field goal. Unraveling late in the game. Great effort but a loss is a loss. You two guys put on a great show. Finally, somebody is going in depth into CFL football.

I don’t think that game is gonna tell us as much as you might think. The Argos have already clinched the division, there really is not much for them to play for in that game. Whereas Winnipeg is in a division race

Edmonton #4?......Maybe #5/6....but they yet to face a top 3 team and win since they've made their recovery

Edmonton could be #4, if they beat BC this weekend. If not, they are lower than 5/6. Edmonton has 2 stand out offensive players (Ford and Brown) and not so much on defence.

Edmonton fan conceding you are right: fourth place is too high. Better than Calgary and Saskatchewan? Yes. Better than Hamilton and Montreal? I don’t know, and teams with stronger records deserve the benefit of the doubt. Perhaps we’re just used to the idea that the East is weaker than the West and overvaluing an unexpected burst of competency and excitement.

I agree with the power rankings also and in order for the Montreal Alouettes (my favourite team in CFL) to get higher in the power rankings, they need to go on a hot streak and beat the Calgary Stampeders this weekend because if they don't, things are going to get dicey in the Eastern Division and the Western Division is gonna come down to BC and Winnipeg winning the West here

Well, with an 18 game regular season, you can divide the season into six games at the beginning, six games in the middle and six games to close out the regular season when it really counts. So we just started the final six games with week number 13. Which team is on a prolonged losing streak right now? Clinging to fifth or sixth place unable to beat any of the top three teams? Teasing the fans by looking pretty good prior to their slump. The team whose six game injury list contains half the starting roster. They have some really good, young home grown players, too. What can they do in those final six weeks? Can they get sellout crowds on those cold, rainy October nights? Will there be a reason for twenty-five thousand or so to have high hopes? I hope so.
